MEMORIES: A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH MIRACLE GLASS REPAIR

My late husband, Don and I lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains in 1989 when the Loma Prieta earthquake struck. As collectors of glass and china, living less than ten miles from the epicenter, we were hit pretty hard. Over the next several years, Kenny and Judy faithfully and skillfully repaired, restored and recreated our family treasures. To this day, I always think of Judy’s diligent work over several years, putting back together the shade of our millefiori lamp, like a puzzle with hundreds of pieces as well as Kenny’s creative genius in salvaging the base to a beloved cobalt Pairpoint compote, turning it into a beautiful stand.
